研究概要	1.E_6型有理特異点の普遍変形族と空間3次曲面のある族のモジュライ空間との間の関係を幾何学的に説明した。このことから(3、6)型超幾何微分方程式系の大域的構造を解明できた。(関口) 2.重力波理論による水の波の線形問題を有限要素法で近似したときの近似解の収束性と誤差評価を論じた。さらに時間方向の離散化手法を一般化してNewmarkの方法を採用した場合を論じた。(牛島) 3.高レイノルズ数流れ問題のために開発した上流下流点選択型有限要素近似をいくつかの3次元問題に適用した。(田端・藤間) 4.自由表面をもつ粘性流体が表面張力によってちぎれた場合の現象を、差分法を用いて数値的にシミュレートした。(渡辺) 5.ある種の行列係数の2次多項式の因数分解に関する性質を調べ、それを2階偏微分作用素の正値性についての問題に応用した。(伊東) 6.配置空間のトポロジーとリーマン球から射影多様体への正則写像の空間の間の関係をトポロジー論的立場から調べた。(山口) 7.微分方程式と代数方程式の混在する微分・代数系への陰的ルンゲ・クッタ法の適用を考察した。(小藤) 8.線形化磁気流体作用素のスペクトルの性質について研究し、理想系の場合にスペクトルの絶対連続性を証明した。(加古) 9.ヒルベルト空間上の下半連続凸汎関数の収束がそれに伴う非線形固有値問題の解の収束を与える十分条件を与えた。(海津) 10.磁場の影響下の熱対流を記述する磁気ベナール系の研究において、応用解析と数値解析の両面において成果を得た。(中村) 11.ある種のヒルベルト・モジュラー形式のヘッケ作用素の跡公式の具体的表示を求めた。(小嶋)
