研究概要	本研究ではゼロ価ニッケル錯体を用いた脱ハロゲン化重縮合法により配位能力を有するポリ(アリーレン)類の合成を行い、さらに、このような従来あまり用いられていなかった導電性π共役配位子を有する遷移金属錯体による二酸化炭素の電解還元反応を行った。導電性π共役配位子ポリ(2,2'-ビピリジン-5,5'-ジイル)(PBpy)は対応するジハロゲン化芳香族化合物に脱ハロゲン化剤であるゼロ価ニッケル錯体を化学量論量反応させることにより合成した。二酸化炭素の電解還元触媒の低分子モデル錯体としてNi(bpy)CI_2錯体を選択した。ジメチルホルムアミド中PBpyを無水塩化ニッケルと反応させることによりPBpy-Ni(II)錯体を合成した。得られたPBpy-Ni(II)錯体は黄土色であり、その元素分析、赤外吸収スペクトルからbpyユニットにNiCI_2が配位子した構造を有していることがわかった。(導入率は約40%)。さらに、白金電極上にPBpy-Ni(II)錯体をフィルムとして形成させ、この電極を用いPBpy-Ni(II)錯体の酸化還元挙動をアルゴンおよび二酸化炭素雰囲気下において調べた。アルゴン下では-1.0〜-1.8V(参照電極:Ag/Ag+)付近にニッケル錯体種の酸化還元に由来するブロードなピークが可逆的に観測された。この酸化還元ピークのブロード化はπ共役導電性配位子錯体に特有なものであり、配位したニッケル種同士の相互作用がPBpy主鎖中のπ共役電子系を介して起こっていることを示している。一方、二酸化炭素雰囲気下においては-2.1 V付近に二酸化炭素の電解還元に由来する還元電流が観測された。この電位においてPBpy-Ni(II)錯体による二酸化炭素の電解還元を行った結果、一酸化炭素の生成がガスクロマトグラフィーにより確認された。また、銅アルコキサイド錯体によるCO_2の化学的固定も検討した。
