多価イオンの分光学的研究

研究概要

電子ビーム形多価イオン源(EBIS)本体の設計・製作を完了した。昨年度に引き続き、電子ビーム発生部から、多価イオン生成・蓄積部を経て、コレクターに至るまでの電子ビームの軌道を、多くの電磁場配位の条件下で計算機シミュレーションを行い最適化を計り、それに基づき電極形状を決定した。
製作された超電導磁場コイルの励磁を行い、70回以上にも及ぶクエンチを経ながらコイルに流す電流を増加させ、目標の4.5Tの磁場強度を達成した。液体へリウムのクライオ・スタット部の過冷却を行えるように、実機の模擬装置を製作し、テストを繰り返し最終的に4.2°Kから2.4°Kまでの過冷却に成功した。
EBIS全体の組み立てを行い、冷却時での中心軸の整合性をとる機構を設けて±0.1mmの精度で軸合わせが行えるようにした。
多価イオンの分光計測を行うためのX線分光器の設計を行った。また、検出器をして使用する予定のガス比例計数管の開発を行った。
測定データとの比較ができる原子構造計算コードを整備した。
