研究概要

柳川は、層別2×J分割表の解析のために射影法を用いてMantel-Haenszel法を拡張した。また、順序カテゴリーで分類された分割表が潜在的に非線形構造をもっている場合に二つの分布の差異を検出する正規直交多次元スコア検定を開発した。広津は、順次データ及び順序分類デ-テの解析のための、累積和を基礎とする様々な統計的方法について研究を行った。また、臨床試験において施設間変動の大きさを施設内変動の大きさと相対的に評価する実証的研究を行った。さらに、複数の臨床試験を総合的に解析するメタアナリシスの開発を目的として当該治験薬と標準薬が第3の薬とそれぞれ比較されているという意味で連結な試験から情報を回復するための方法論について研究した。丹後は、空間集積性検出のための新しい検定法を開発し、この方法が他の方法に比べ検出力が高いことを明らかにした。また、経時的くり返しデータの個体毎のプロファイルの混合モデルを開発し、従来の方法では得られない有用な解釈が可能となることを示した。佐藤は、ケースコホート研究において、これまで提案されている曝露効果の検定方法、リスク比の推定方法の問題点を指摘し、リスク比の最大推定量を与えた。また、因果推論の立場から交絡がおこるメカニズム、標準化の意義を明らかにした。さらに、Intent-to-treat解析での因果パラメータの推定方法を開発しMantel-Haenszelリスクが因果モデルから導出できることを示した。吉村は、毒性評価において動物実験の代替法であるin-vitro testについて研究を行い代替法データに関する新しい解析方法を開発した。大瀧は、成長曲線モデルに含まれる位置パラメータや分散パラメータに線形構造を導入し、モデルを拡張した。また、生存期間データ解析におけるハザード関数として折れ線を仮定し、最尤法により推定するためのコンピュタ-アルゴリズ及びプログラムを開発した。
