数理工学における逆問題の数学的取り扱いと工学的取り扱いに関する総合的研究

研究概要	工業技術の発展に伴い、形状・欠陥の同定,材料定数の決定等の逆問題の研究が望まれる様になった。更にコンピュータの発達は、これらの問題の理論解析のみならず数値解析を可能にし、それらの研究成果は新しい技術の発展へとつながっている。しかし、多くの逆問題は数学的には非適切な問題であり、今後の発展を期する為には応用指向の基礎研究が重要である。世界的な視野からこの動きに対処する為の国際会議“数理工学に於ける逆問題(IPES-94)"が1994年7月に大阪で開催されるが、本研究はこの研究集会に向けて、国内に於ける学問的体制を整備することがその目的であった。この為に、研究連絡のセミナーを開催し、関係文献の整理を行ない、更に国内シンポジウムを開催した。特に山本晶宏によるヒルベルトのユニークネス法の逆問題への応用は世界最先端のものであること、久保司郎の誤差解析,磯祐介と久保雅義の非適切問題への数値解析的アプローチは今後の発展が期待されること等が確認された。数学者と工学者が逆問題についての応用指向の基礎研究を進めていく素地を作ったことで、本総合研究の目的は十分に果せたものと判断している。各分担者の研究については、添付の研究内容の文献リストの通りである。
