金属スラスターの電子構造研究のための理論的方法の開拓と応用

研究概要

1)金属スラスターの電子構造は、分子系とは異なる特異な構造を持つ場合がある。分子軌道の立場からこの金属原子を含む系の特異な電子構造を取り扱う理論の開発に取り組んだ。
2)慶応義塾大学理工学部の茅研究室の実験を解析するために、Al_nS_m,Al_nNa,Si_nNa,Si_nC_m等の2成分混合クラスターの理論的研究を茅研と共同で進めた。非経験的分子軌道法により安定構造を決め、さらに陰イオンの光電子スペクトルのクラスターの大きさに対する依存性を解析することに成功した。
3)2族、3族原子と水クラスターの錯体形成と反応を理論的に研究した。第3周期の原子(Mg,Al)については富宅助教授による実験的研究があり、その結果を解析することに成功した。第2周期の原子(Be,B)については実験的研究が殆どなく、理論的に、B^+イオンと水のクラスター内反応において特に特異な反応を予測した。
4)フェノール分子と水のクラスターの安定構造を分子軌道法を駆使して決定した。多くの異性体の存在を予想することが出来たが、最も安定な環状異性体の理論スペクトルが東北大学の三上教授らの観測した赤外吸収スペクトルの特徴を再現することを示した。
