脊髄自律神経核におけるアミノ酸神経のシナプス構造

研究概要	1)酸化窒素(Nitric oxide、NO)神経が、脊髄中間質に多数分布し、その多くは交感神経節前神経と一致することをNOS(Nitric oxide synthase)免疫組織化学により示した。これに対応して上顎神経節には密なNO神経終末の分布が見られたが、交感神経節神経にはNOS陽性神経はほとんど見られなかった。 2)脊髄中間質外側核の神経の大部分がNO産生神経であるが、一部はNOS免疫反応陰性である。この機能的意義はまだ解からない。 3)NOが逆行性の伝達物質ないし神経伝達調節物質として、交感神経系でもグルタミン酸シナプスの興奮性伝達を制御する可能性が示唆された。 4)グルタミン酸、GABA、グリシン神経終末が、脊髄中間質外側核でNO神経の樹状突起と密接な関係で終わることを二重免疫反応により示した。シナプスの微細構造を今後明らかにしたい。
