新型斜入射式イオン計測器による径方向プラグ電位分布測定とイオン閉じ込め効果の研究

研究概要	本研究では、1.我々が独自に開発した技術を用いて、プラズマ半径方向に可動なイオン計測器を開発し、2.イオンのエネルギー閉じ込めに対する電位のプラズマ径方向分布の効果を研究することを目的としている。本年度は 1.これまでに我々が電子のエネルギー閉じ込めと電位の相関の研究を進めてきた際に世界に先駆けて開発した、光電子分光法を応用した静電電子エネルギー分析器の、静電場の方向を逆転させ、検出器の配位を最適化することにより、コンパクトでプラズマ径方向可動型の端損失イオン計測器として使用できることが分かった。これは、今までのイオン計測器が、高温電子の流入によりS/N比の劣化に悩まされてきた問題を解決し、より正確なイオン閉じ込め電位分布とイオン閉じ込め時間の計測を可能にした。 2.また、この新計測器を用いて、今までに行ってきた電子エネルギー閉じ込めの研究に用いた手法を応用し、ガンマ10装置において、イオンの閉じ込みめに対する電位の効果を研究した。 3.上記実験データの収集と解析を行うための計算機、AD変換ボードを購入し、データ整理を行っている。今後の方針としては、斜入射式イオン計測器の特徴である、コンパクトで低印加電圧で働できる点を生かし、この計測器を多数個並べたアレイにすることにより、イオン温度、プラズマ電位の空間分布、時間変化を1ショットで同時計測を行えるよう改良しいてく予定であり、平成6年度の奨励研究(A)に申請中である。
