炭素-フッ素結合の新機能とその応用

研究概要	炭素-フッ素化合物の合成、構造、化学結合、電気化学的性質について研究し、次のような結果を得た。 1、フラーレン、カーボンナノチューブのフッ素化ヒフッ素化物の性質フラーレンC_<60>を室温〜90℃でフッ素化した。単体フッ素のみの場合、C_<60>F_<40>〜C_<60>F_<45>、フォ素ガスとフッ素水素ガスの混合物の場合、C_<60>F_<42>〜C_<60>F_<45>、紫外線照射の場合、C_<60>F_<47>〜C_<60>F_<52>、塩化フッ化炭素溶媒中フッ素化した場合、C_<60>F_<27>〜C_<60>F_<32>が得られた。フッ素化物はすべて立方晶で指数付けされ、格子定数は1.71〜1.77nmであった。XPS測定により炭素-フッ素結合はフッ素-グラファイト層間化合物C_2Fとフッ化黒鉛の中間的共有性を示すことがわかった。カーボンナノチューブのフッ素では室温〜80℃で第1ステージC_4F、80℃〜100℃で第2ステージのC_7F、500℃でフッ化黒鉛(CF)_nが得られた。100〜400℃では表面フッ素化が観察された。炭素-フッ素結合はフッ素濃度および反応温度が増加するにつれてイオン性から共有性へ変化した。 2、高次フッ化物を用いるフッ素-グラファイト層間化合物の合成最近合成された高次フッ化物AgF_3を触媒としてグラファイト層間化合物を合成し、第1〜4ステージのC_3F〜C_<10>Fを得た。AgF_3存在下で容易にCxFが生成することが明らかとなり、XPS測定によりイオン性、半共有性フッ素が共存することがわかった。 3、酸化フッ化バナジウム-グラファイト層間化合物の電気化学的性質 V_2O_5+F_2+グラファイトの反応によって第2ステージの酸化フッ化バナジウム層間化合物を合成し、有機溶媒中で電気化学的還元を行ったが、層間化合物は極めて安定で還元を受けにくく、Li^+イオンの層間拡散係数も小さいことがわかった。
