研究概要	1.公開研究報告会・領域合同班会議(8年10月12日、東京) 総括班班員、研究計画班班員、公募班員の合同研究報告会を開催した。これにより各人の研究の方向と進行状況、共同研究の現状が班員間でよく把握された。さらに多数の一般参加者があり細胞質分裂研究に対する関心の高さがうかがわれた。この後の班会議で班の体制と今後の活動に関する建設的な議論がなされた。 2.シンポジウムの開催・領域合同班会議(8年8月28日、札幌) 第69回日本生化学会・第19回日本分子生物学会合同年会の間に「細胞分裂構造の形成とその調節」と題して馬渕、米村がオーガナイザーとなり国際シンポジウムを開催した。馬渕、沼田、久保田、細谷、スイス癌研究所・V.シマニス博士(研究評価のための招聘)、フランス・生物構造研究所・R.L.マルゴリス博士(研究評価のため招聘)、アメリカ・ラトガース大学・松村文雄博士(研究評価のため招聘)が講演を行ない、その後講演者をまじえて細胞分裂構造の研究の現状について議論を行なった。シンポジウムは盛況で、細胞質分裂のシグナル伝達、収縮環形成機構についての最先端の知見が公表され、活発な討論が行なわれた。今後のこの研究分野の進め方についての示唆が得られた企画であった。 3、正月の総括班・研究計画班合同班会議(9年1月7日、千里) 本年度の研究報告と反省、今後の申請を含む研究計画を議論した。9年度はまとめの年度にあたるので、その後この領域をどのように発展させていくかについて活発な議論がなされた。
