研究概要	1.DNAのレプリケーションエラーが多重癌患者の89%(34/38)に、単発癌患者の11%(19/174)に認められ、DNAミスマッチ修復異常の多重癌発症リスク判定に応用できる可能性が示された。 2.胃1300病変、大腸2600病変等で、癌遺伝子、癌抑制遺伝子を用いた分子病理学的診断を試み、胃腺腫の11%は癌化の可能性が高く、境界領域病変の37%が癌と判定された。大腸では異型腺腫の10%が癌化の可能性の高いもの、4%が癌と診断された。白血病では、急性白血病約200症例の5%にEVI-1遺伝子の転写活性化を認め、3q21と3q26間での異常が多く、転座によるEVI-1の転写活性化が示唆された。また各種白血病中、慢性骨髄性白血病急性転化(13/16)においてN-アセチルグルコサミン転移酵素IIIの活性が高まっていた。 3.肺癌の高頻度にみられる第三染色体短腕上の標的癌抑制遺伝子を同定すべく、3q21.3領域を覆う酵母人工染色体クローンを用いて解析を進めた。数種の候補遺伝子のcDNAクローンを得た。神経芽腫の発生・増殖に関与する抑制遺伝子が1p36(NB1)と1p34(NB2)に存在することが示唆され、1p31-1p34のコスミドクローンを用いてマッピングを開始した。 4.転移抑制遺伝子と考えられるnm23のタンデムに位置する2つのアイソタイプの染色体遺伝子を単離し、転写調節領域の解析をおこなった。更にnm23-H1ゲノムのintron4を特異的プローブとして用い、大腸癌症例29例中3例にLOHを見出した。
