研究概要

本総合研究は、有機反応化学、触媒化学、生体機能化学等の分野の研究者が個々の研究概念を総合的に融合し、電子移動過程を制御する新しい複合ハイブリット系の構築を目標とする。この目標のために、本年度はいくつかの研究打ち合わせ勉強会を開催し、各分野の相互理解と融合を図った。平成6年7月2日には、EOC討論会への参会を機会に野中教授ほか17名が参加して研究会をもった。有機電気化学の将来について自由討論した。10月2日、3日には、日本化学会に際し、有機電子移動プロセスの新展開と題するシンポジウムに大野惇吉教授ほか15名が参加した。外国の電子移動の専門家も4名が参加し、有機合成化学、反応化学、生体機能化学、触媒化学等の多分野の研究概念の融合の場となった。電子移動過程の重要性を再認識することとなった。
研究課題としては、1)界面修飾による複合電子移動系の開発、2)触媒-電極複合系による分子変換、3)生体反応-電極反応複合系による分子変換である。これらの課題は相互に関連しており、複合ハイブリット化することにより高選択的分子変換や機能増幅系の構築が可能になる。このために不可欠な、各分野の融合のための基礎づくりは達成されたと思われる。
