発展方程式と非線形問題への応用

研究概要

本研究では、偏微分方程式を含む様々な非線形問題を発展方程式の立場から取り扱い、各研究分担者の分野において開発されている知見や手法を用いることによって理論と応用の両面から研究を進め、以下に述べるように当初の目標に対して十分な成果をあげることができた。
1.非線形半群並びに非線形発展作用素の自然なクラスを導入し、生成理論並びに近似理論を構築し、これらの理論を準線形保存則、非線形移流・拡散方程式、準線形退化放物型方程式のどの非線形発展系に応用した。
2.解析的半群の時間に依存する非線形摂動について最良の結果を得た。これにより従来取扱うことが出来なかった生物モデルや人工モデル、反応拡散系などに接近出来るようになった。
3.定常問題に関連し、非線形楕円型方程式のポテンシャル論的研究を進め、初期の成果を得た。この方面の研究は今後非線形問題を取扱う上で1つの転機に来ているように思われる。
4.数理物理学に現れる発展系に対して経路積分による接近を行い、新しい問題の定式化を得ると共に、今後の研究に対する構想を立てることが出来た。
5.反応拡散、相転位、ヒルテリシス、粘弾性体の運動など、自然界における様々な現象と、発展方程式、力学系、および確率過程の立場から研究を進め、数値実験を含めて多くの新しい知見を得た。
発展方程式の研究は、様々な非線形問題への応用研究と相まって現在様々な形で研究が進められている。この様な研究を効果的に遂行して行くためには迅速かつ有効な研究連絡や情報交換が必要であったが、この補助金により上述のように多くの成果をあげることができた。これらの研究は、今後国内外の研究所集会で発表され、論文や著書の形で公表される予定である。
