研究概要

1987年に古田が確立した作用素不等式は次のものである。『A【greater than or equal】B【greater than or equal】Oがヒルベルト空間上で成り立てば、(B^rA^pB^r)^<1/g>【greater than or equal】(B^rB^pB^r)^<1/g>が成立する、ただしr【greater than or equal】0、p【greater than or equal】0、g【greater than or equal】1かつ(1+2r)g【greater than or equal】p+2r』この結果は1934年のLowner-Heingの有名な不等式である『A【greater than or equal】B【greater than or equal】OならA^α【greater than or equal】B^α、ここにα∈〔0.1〕』の一般化でもあった。実に53年ぶりに拡張が得られて『フルタ不等式』とアメリカ数学会で命名され多くの研究者が応用に取り組んだ。今年度この応用について得られたものは大別すれば次の通りである。(A)作用素不等式関連。Ando-Hiaiによるlog majorezationの一般化が示されたことでありこれは『フルタ不等式』自身の一般化の応用として示されたものである。相対作用素エントロピーに関連する不等式の評価を精密化することができた。更に相対作用素エントロピーそれ自身の一般化なる概念を定義しその性質を研究した。logA2logBをみたす作用素の特性化なども得られた。(B)ノルム不等式関連。Heing-Katoの定理の一般化についての成果を二つのタイプで得た。更にKosakiのtrace inequalitiesの一般化やchaotic orderになったときの対応するtrace inequalitiesも得られた。(C)或る種の作用素方程式関連。或るタイプの作用素方程式を
