研究概要	ナビエ・ストークス方程式の境界値問題は通常vanishing outflow conditionで考察される。しかし、non-vanishingの場合は一般には解の存在は数学的には示されていない。研究代表者森本は昨年度、2次元円環領域の場合に、あるnon-vanishing境界条件のもとで、解が存在する例を与えた。この解はレイノルズ数の大きさに関係なく存在するという点で興味深いものであった。この解の近傍にnon-vanishing outflowが存在する場合があることが予想されたが、東京工業大学鵜飼教授との共同研究でanalytic perturbationにより示すことができ、1994年10月京都大学数理解析研究所で開かれた研究集会で発表した。研究分担者藤田はストークス方程式あるいはナビエ・ストークス方程式に漏洩・透過を許す摩擦型の境界条件が課された場合の境界値問題の研究を行った。この問題の解の存在証明等の基本的な解析は変分不等式の理論にそって行われるが、とくに圧力に含まれる付加定数を制限する漏洩境界条件のもとでのそれはストークス方程式の場合でも非自明であり、Hahn-Banachの拡張定理を援用することにより可能になったものである。また、滑り境界条件のもとでの解の存在がナビエ・ストークス方程式に従う流れに対して得られたが、これも自明でない結果であると評価されている。これらの結果は論文[2]に収められている。その後、圧力も併せて変分法的に定める定式化、鞍点探索型変分問題の定式化、それに依拠する近似解法について基本的な結果が千葉大河原田秀夫教授等との協力により得られ、8月に電気通信大学に於いて開催された日中数値数学シンポジュウムで発表され、プロシ-ディングスに論文[3]として収められている。滑り境界条件でもnonvanishing out-flowの場合は解の存在は一般には不明であるが、円環領域の場合その簡単な例を森本が論文[1]で示した。
