研究概要

昨年同様、コムギ・オオムギ合同班、イネ、ダイズの3グループで調査研究を行った。
ムギグループ:8〜9月チベット高原東端部(四川省西部)で調査を行った。コムギは63地点で348点のサンプルを収集した。コムギ栽培は2850m〜3400mの高度で見られ、春播きで大部分は在来品種であった。また昨年度チベット高原中央部(ラサ周辺)で採集したサンプルを栽培調査し、一次特性および播性のデータを得た。オオムギは62地点で300点余りのサンプルを収集し、特性調査を開始している。ほとんどが六条裸性で、粒の着色型が多かった。
イネグループ:10月に広西自治区西南部を旅行し、野生イネO.rufipogonの自生地12地点で生態的調査を行った。すべて多年生型であり、栽培イネとの自然交雑は顕著ではなかったが、環境破壊が進み野生イネの集団はいずれも小さいものであった。昨年度調査した桂林地区の野生イネ集団は農地整備のためほぼ絶滅したと思われる。
ダイズグループ:雲南省西双版納で在来品種の調査を行い、黒・黄・緑の種皮色を持つ小粒春ダイズが主体であった。また野生ダイズの分布北限地域(中国東北部)での生態的調査を行った。日本での北限(北海道日高地方)の野生ダイズに比べ3〜4週早生であった。栽培ダイズの細胞質ゲノムのRFLP分析を行い、野生型と同じ型を含む7種のゲノム型を見出した。さらに地理的分化の傾向も認められた。
