研究概要

平成8年度の研究実績について述べる.昨今,理学,工学,生物学の個別分野では取り扱えないような問題が多くなっており,こうした境界領域上の問題を数理的に解析することの重要性がますます高まっている.情報力学は,系の力学と状態という2つの概念からなるものであり,このような境界領域上の様々な問題を複雑さという観点から統一的に扱おうとするものである.本研究は,複雑さと力学の融合である情報力学という観点から,今年度は以下のような研究成果を得た.(1)量子確率過程を通して,量子系の相互エントロピーの増減について論じた.(2)量子系のチャネルに対して通信路容量を定式化し,具体的な光通信のモデルに対して通信路容量を求めた.(3)情報力学の複雑量の一つである状態のフラクタル次元の応用として,量子系のIsing modelや古典系のGauss測度やクレーター,河川等の分布に対して適用し,状態のフラクタル次元が,エントロピーでは区別できない複雑さをも表現する指標となることを示した.(4)量子系にK-S型の平均相互エントロピーと平均エントロピーを情報力学の複雑さの指標を用いて定式化し,その応用として光変調方式の新たな情報伝送の効率の議論を行うことができた.(5)量子系にK-S型の平均エントロピーを量子マルコフ過程を通して導入し,いくつかのモデルについて計算を行い,その有用性を示した.(6)情報力学の生物学の応用として生体情報理論の分野で,現在,熱望されているマルチプルアライメントをタンパク質の立体構造を考慮して行うことができた.(7)(6)のもう一つの応用として,チャネルという状態変化を表す概念を導入することにより,新たな進化系統樹作成を行うことができた.(8)光通信過程へLiftingを適用し,減衰過程だけでなく生成過程を含めた効率の議論を行うことができた.(9)量子場の理論の一つの基本原理としてのBRS対称性の解析や,局所的な量子物理の枠組みの中でそれを特徴付ける理論をいかに定義するかという問題について議論を行った.(10)作用素論的エントロピーの応用として,Convolution Operatorsの特徴付けを行った.
