多重機能性の発現を目指した金属錯体集合体の設計・創成

研究概要	有機物質と無機物質の十字路に位置する遷移金属錯体を舞台として繰り広げられる新しい物性や機能性、これらを組み合わせた多重機能性を探り出す目的で、金属イオンの持つ多彩な電子状態、配位子の持つ次元性の制御機能など金属錯体の特色を最大限に活用して金属錯体集合体を組織的に設計・創成することを目的として・研究グループを組織し、平成7、8年度に公開シンポジウムを開催した。最終年度である平成8年度は、金属錯体集合体における多重機能性という観点から、各分野の最前線の研究状況の報告と今後の新規物性・機能性および多重機能性を発現させる金属錯体の分子設計について討議することを目的として、下記の研究会を主催した。平成8年度研究報告会(公開シンポジウム)(分子科学研究所,平成9年1月10-11日)。特筆すべきものとして下記の成果が挙げられる。d-π相互作用によって誘起された(BETS)_2FeCl_4の磁場誘起絶縁体・金属転移、(BETS)_2Ga_<1-x>Fe_xCl_4における超伝導相と磁性相の競合、[Pd(H_2DAG)(HDAG)]TCNQ(M=Ni,Pd,Pt)などプロトン移動とd-π間電荷移動の相乗効果による特異な金属・絶縁体転移を示す有機・無機複合系の開発、[(CuX)_2(TMT-TTF)]_n(X=Cl,Br,I)などd-π相互作用を取り入れた様々な導電性新規配位高分子の開発、遷移金属錯体による様々な強磁性体、フェリ磁性体の開発、新規スピンクロスオーバーFe錯体の開発、ハロゲン架橋一次元Pt混合原子価錯体における高密度非線形励起の形成、金属・半導体転移の発見、高い非線形光学効果を持つ遷移金属クラスター化合物の開発、配位子の光異性化による光誘導結晶振動を示す配位高分子の開発などがある。
