木材由来成分からの生分解性高分子の製造とその評価法の確立

研究概要

白石、吉岡は、セルロースジアセテートを反応性可塑剤とトリアセチンなど通常の可塑化剤とを混合して用いる練り込み反応による可塑化を開発した。また、フェノールや多価アルコール存在下での木材の液化物からの成形物が生分解性を備えていることを明らかにした。竹村はポリメタクリル酸メチルをセルロース間の相溶性についての検討結果を報文とすると共に、セルロースアセテートといくつかの高分子とのブレンドの研究を行った。小林はポリ(L-グルタミン酸)より、ポリペプチドを主鎖とし、アミロースを側鎖として持つ従来にないタイプでしかもプロテアーゼにより分解されるグラフト共重合体を得た。富田はリグニンのオゾン酸化物がムコン酸誘導体構造をとることにより、その利用で生分解性高分子を開発しうると考えて、種々の樹脂化を試み、とくにリグニン/エポキシ樹脂の開発に成功している。坂井は樹皮タンニンからのポリウレタン発泡体の調製を広く検討し、物性および生分解性にすぐれた材料を得た。西田はオゾン酸化リグニンについて白色腐朽菌を用いる処理を行い、その生分解性の評価が試料の280nm(芳香核の吸収波長)における吸光度の減少から行いうることを示した。また、ポリエチレン膜について、リグニンを高度にかつ選択的に分解しうるIZU-154株で処理したのち、伸びや引張強度の変化を測定し、それらが生分解性を評価しうる尺度を与えうることを示した。島田と高橋は、オリゴエステル化セルロースアセテートさらにはアセチル化木材について検討し、それらが十分生分解性を備えており、自然界の炭素循環系への組みこみが可能であると結論している。黒田はシリンギルおよびグアイアシル単位の組成比の異なる広葉樹型脱水素重合物をリグニン試料とし、分析的熱分解により腐朽の際のグリニンの変化や脱リグニンの過程を有効にモニターできることを示した。
