レーザーMBEによる無機人工格子材料の創成と物性の研究

研究概要

平成7年度の研究結果をもとに、以下のような研究を行い、成果を得た。
1。STM(走査トンネル顕微鏡)による原子層積層過程の研究:レーザーMBEによる人工格子成長過程をSTMにより実空間で観察制御した。原子層分子層の格子定数、電荷が成長に与える影響を明らかにし、原子層積層成長の基本メカニズムを確立した。
2。人工格子系を硫化物系において行い、NiS,CuS層での人工格子を酸化物系と比較した。特に、アニオン(S,O)のエネルギー準位が異なる点での誘電及び伝導メカニズムに与える影響の比較を行った。
その結果、酸化物人工格子形成においては、基板との格子定数の一致、電荷中性条件の保持、積層順序が最も重要な3つの要素であることが明らかになった。
