研究概要	1.ドリフトチャンバーの設計と製作我々が開発した気体感応型ドリフトチャンバーをもとに本研究用のドリフトチャンバーを新たに設計した。これは重陽子ガスが高価である事と反応後放出される陽子のエネルギーが小さく飛程が短いので低いガス圧で作動するチャンバーが必要であるとの要請があるからである。即ち、ガス放出量と真空漏れが極めて少ないチャンバーでなければならない。そのためチャンバー内に封入する材料についてのガス放出量のテスト及びチャンバー内での荷電粒子の軌道計算を行い適切なチャンバーを設計しメーカーに製作を依頼した。又チャンバーの持つエネルギー分解能は5.4%、時間分解能は5.5nsecであることがテスト実験の結果明らかになったがこれらはいずれも期待通りである。 2.重陽子光分解反応用気体試料の特性試験重陽子ガスは、ドリフトチャンバーとして動作可能である事、d(γ,p)n反応と識別が困難な他の反応を起こさないこと、放出される陽子の角度分布測定が可能である事及び断面積測定に充分な反応率が得られる事が必要条件である。これらの観点から、メタンガス、水素・ヘリウム混合ガス、水素・メタン混合ガスについて、エネルギー及び時間分解能を含む上記条件を満たすか否かをテストした。その結果メタン及び水素・メタン混合ガスが期待する条件を満たす事が判明した。 3.データ収集系の設計ドリフトチャンバーに張られた二次電子検出用の信号線は160本に及ぶのでそのデータ収集系プログラム等を整備した。
