変位電流法による分子膜内の荷電粒子の微視的変位及び分子形態変化の記録に関する研究

研究概要	本研究では、第一の目的として、各種の外部刺激分子膜に加えた時に発生する膜内の電子移動と分子の形態変化(シス-トランス光異性化)に着目し、こうした変化を変位電流として計測して、膜の物性量を測定する手法を開発することをかかげた。そして、本年度は、(1)分子膜の双極子能率の変化の大きさ、(2)双極子の外部刺激(光、圧力、熱)に対する応答速度、(3)積層分子膜内での電子の移動量および移動速度、(4)異種分子膜間での外部刺激による分子膜の構造変化の伝搬速度、(5)分子膜の相転移温度の評価を行うこととした。研究に必要な装置の改善と、実験結果の解析が主な研究内容となった。たとえば、液晶分子の単層膜から3層膜への圧力による転移や分子長と変位電流の関係などを明かとすることができた。また、第二の目的として、ポリイミド膜を絶縁層とする構造素子を用いて、外部刺激により発生した膜内の電子移動あるいは分子の形態変化を非弾性トンネルスペクトルとして明かとするこことを目指した。非弾性スペクトル解析のための基本的な装置はすでに完成していたので、今年度は装置の感度の改善に重点を置き研究を行なった。その結果、有機2分子膜によるスペクトルの違いは確認できたが、外部刺激によって発生する分子の形態変化の確認までには至らなかった。
