研究概要

本年度は、実験データ及び実験機器からの実験条件と記録条件をコンピューターに取り込み、データファイルを作製するための、システムの中心部分のハードウェアとソフトウェアを開発した。ハードウェアとしては刺激装置からの刺激条件(どの刺激チャンネルの刺激をどの刺激電極にどれだけの刺激の強さで与えたかということ)と、信号記録の条件(増幅率、AC増幅かDC増幅か)をそれぞれの装置からディジタル及びアナログの信号として取り出せるようにした。日本光電に依頼し、条件を満足する刺激装置が完成した。信号波形はスパイクかシナプス電位かなど現象の大きさによって増幅率を変えたりAC・DCを切り換えたりして記録しなくてはならないが、そのときの増幅率などがディジタルの信号として取り出せる専用のゲイン可変増幅器を作製した。この増幅器内には、コンピューターでのA/D変換の前に不可欠な、ロ-パスフィルター、及び、キャリブレーション用の標準電位発生装置も組み込んである。一方、コンピューターには、多チャンネルの高速アナログ/ディジタル(A/D)変換入力のボードに加えて、パラレル入力のボードを入れて上に述べた刺激のパラメーター・波形増幅のパラメーターの信号が、アナログの記録波形信号とともに取り込めるようにしてある(静止電位モニター用にアナログの1チャンネルを使っている)。以上のハード部分の作成の後、これらのハード部分を制御し、信号をコンピューターメモリーに転送し、ファイルにセ-ブする、データ取り込みのプログラムを開発した。プログラム開発には、スクリーンエディタ-のMIFES、C言語(MS-C)を用いた。
