W無限大代数の表現論とその応用

研究概要

1.W_<1+∞>代数の表現論は、表現を特徴づける特性多項式が簡単な場合については研究進展し、Kac行列式・指標公式などが求められた。指標公式はSchur対称多項式を用いて書き表されている。ところでこのSchur対称多項式にはJack対称多項式と呼ばれるある種の変形版が存在しており、それはCalogero-Sutherland模型(CSM)の励起状態を記述する関数である。CSMは最近多くの研究者の注目を集めた一次元の長距離力の働く解ける模型で一般化された排他原理に従っている。我々は集団場の方法を用いてCSMのハミルトニアンを自由ボソン表示しその固有状態(Jsck対称多項式)をボソンのFock空間内で探してみたところ、Jack対称多項式をラベルするヤング図が一行または一列の場合には固有状態は、自由場表示されたVirasoro代数の遮蔽演算子により作り出される事が分かった。ボソン化したハミルトニアンと自由場表示されたVirasoro代数の生成元の関係を用いると、Virasoro代数の特異ベクトルが長方形のヤング図を持つJack対称多項式に対応する事も示される。更に一般のヤング図(N-1個の長方形から成る)の場合には、Jack対称多項式は自由場表示されたW_N代数の特異ベクトルと対応している事を示した。また別の方法を用いてJack対称多項式の積分表示式を得た。この結果をJack対称多項式のq-変形であるMacdonald対称多項式の積分表示式へと拡張し、これらの結果を基にしてVirasoro,W_N代数の量子変形(q-変形)を得た(重点領域研究参照)。
2.境界がある場合の超対称sine-Gordon模型について、可積分性・超対称性を保つ境界項を決定した。また19頂点模型の境界Yang-Baxter方程式を解き、反射K行列の全ての解を求め、対応する境界のあるスピン1のXXZスピン鎖のハミルトニアンを書き下した。
