研究概要

軽い不安定核の束縛状態や共鳴状態の精密な研究のために,確率論的変分法による理論を進展させた。これは変分試行関数を相関ガウス基底を重ね合わせて表現し,変分パラメータを含む基底をその貢献度を評価しながら選択するものである。現実的核力による4核子系の結合エネルギー計算に適用し,方法論的に正しいことを証明できた。
核子数が増えるにつれて全ての核子自由度を活性化させた精密計算はまだ出来ないが,部分的に自由度を凍結した微視的多クラスター模型計算は可能である。アルファ粒子,^3H^3He,陽子,中性子を単位とした微視的多クラスター模型により,A=7〜11の領域の多くの原子核の詳細な記述が可能になり,中性子・陽子密度分布,電磁気的性質,ベータ崩壊などの実験データと比較検討し,概して良い一致を得ることに成功した。とりわけ^<10>Beにおける^9Be+η,α+^6He的構造を取り入れた励起状態の研究が進展した。
束縛状態の精密計算が可能になったことにより,共鳴状態の研究に新しい可能性を拓くことができた。引力ポテンシャルの結合定数を弱めることにより束縛状態は共鳴状態になるという仮定のもとに,束縛状態のエネルギーを結合定数の解析関数として連続状態に解析接続することにより,共鳴パラメーター(共鳴エネルギー,共鳴幅)を決定するものである。^6He,^6Liを三体模型で扱い,他の理論的方法(複素スケール法)と比較し良い結果を得たので,この新しい考えは共鳴が重要な役割をもつ不安定核研究において有効なものとなると期待される。
ガウス相関基底を用いた確率論的変分法は,原子核以外にも原子・分子など他分野に応用できるものであることが多くの例で示すことができたので,一般的プログラムをつくり希望者が使用できるように公開した。
不安定核を含む核反応の研究のために,核構造計算コードと核反応計算コードとを結合できるように改良している。^6He+^4He散乱におけるハロ-中性子の役割を調べることが目的になるがこのためにR行列反応コードの改良が必要で,現在テスト計算中である。また,不安定核の破砕反応による運動量分布の分析にメッシュ計算の結果が使用できるように拡張をはかった。
不安定核反応と元素合成の問題について,弱い一次の宇宙QCD相転移を種とするフラクタル的な非一様バリオン密度揺らぎを幾何学的非一様構造として近似してとり入れビッグバン元素合成計算を行った。現在の天文観測から得られているD,He,Li量に対する制限を満たし,しかも銀河団スケールの最近の天文観測が示す大きなバリオン質量密度パラメータΩ_B=0.1-0.3を説明できる可能性があることを明らかにした。一様元素合成モデルに比べて千倍から一万倍ものBe,B等の重元素がビッグバン元素合成で作られた可能性がある。
