3、研究成果
本研究はピナツボ火山の噴火によってもたらされた大量の火山礫をコンクリート用材料として活用し、現地において低価格のRC造一般住宅の提供を具体化することを目標として着手している。材料設計、構造設計、住宅設計の3部門に分けて初年度の成果を示せば以下の通りである。
3.1 材料設計:(1)火山礫を細粗骨材として用いた軽量コンクリートの基礎実験から、気乾単位容積1.5〜2.0t/m^3の範囲で圧縮強度120〜250kgf/cm^2が得られ、実用に供し得ることが確認された。(2)火山礫のポゾラン反応性に関して化学法、促進法、モルタル強度法によって検討した結果、採取位置や養生温度によっては良好な潜在的水硬性を示すものが存在することが判明した。(3)コンクリート用細粗骨材として用いた場合、アルカリ骨材反応に対して有害性のないことが確認された。
3.2 構造設計:住宅のプレハブ化を前提として、構法に基づく部材寸法の標準化を行い、構造実験実施のための試験計画について原案を作成した。当該実験は次年度に実施を予定している。
3.3 住宅の設計:フィリピンの風土、文化、生活様式、住宅環境、設計規準などの情報に基づき、現在、プレハブ化住宅の基本設計の検討が鋭意進められている。
