窒素酸化物/オゾン系の複合化学効果の精密解析と有機合成への応用

研究概要	本年度における主たる研究の成果を以下の3項目に要約して示した。 (1)二酸化窒素-オゾン系(NO_2-O_3)による芳香族炭化水素のニトロ化機構を解明するため、ビクメンを化学プローブに用いて種々のニトロ化試剤でニトロ化し、生成物の分布と試剤の関係を検討した結果、硝酸-硫酸系では正常なニトロ化が起こるのに対し、二酸化窒素-オゾン系の場合には、中央部分のC-C結合の顕著な開裂が認められ、電子移動によるラジカルカチオン種の発生がニトロ化過程において重要な意味を持つことが確認された (2)ピリジンは硝酸-硫酸系ではニトロ化できないが、NO_2-O_3系を作用させた後、反応混合物を亜硫酸水素ナトリウム水溶液で処理すると、ニトロ化合物がかなり好収率で得られることが判った。反応は、N-ニトロピリジニウムニトラートに対する亜硫酸水素イオンの付加に続く、ニトロ基の1,3-転移と亜硫酸の脱離を経て進むものと推定される。 (3)NO_2-O_3系による芳香族炭化水素のニトロ化は電子移動を経るラジカルカチオン種の発生を経て進むため、ニトロ化は段階的に進行し、従来の硝酸-硫酸系のようにポリニトロ化物の並列的な生成はあまり認められないことを確認した。この優れた段階選択性は、大規模なニトロ化において、従来法に比べて大きな利点となる。
