窒素酸化物/オゾン系の複合化学効果の精密解析と有機合成への応用

研究概要	本年度における主たる研究の結果を以下の4項目に分けて要約した。 (1)二酸化窒素-オゾン系(NO_2-O_3)による脂肪族炭化水素のニトロ化の機構を解明するために、一連の1-置換アダマンタンについてその動力学と成生物分布を検討し、脂肪族炭化水素の反応においても、三酸化窒素による水素原子の引き抜きは、置換基の電気的効果に大きく支配されることを確認した。 (2)α位に水素原子を持つ脂肪族エーテルは二酸化窒素-オゾン系の作用により容易に酸化的開裂を受けてカルボニル化合物を比較的好収率で与えるため、基質によってはこの反応が合成的に利用できることが判明した。 (3)ある種の芳香族ポリニトロ化合物は人口香料の原料として重要であるが、その合成には従来基質を濃硝酸-濃硫酸と高温に加熱するという方法が用いられてきた。しかし、二酸化窒素-オゾン系を用いると、少量の酸触媒の共存下に氷冷下でポリニトロ化が円滑に進行し、目的物が効率よく得られることが判った。 (4)1,4-ジ-t-ブチルベンゼンについて二酸化窒素-オゾン系によるニトロ化と硝酸-硫酸によるニトロ化を比較した結果、前者によるニトロ化のほうがイブソ置換によるアルキル基の脱離傾向が大きいことが判った。これはイオン種とラジカルイオン種の溶媒和による見かけ上のかさ高さの違いがイブソ攻撃の度合いの違いとして反映されていると考えられ、反応機構的に興味深い知見を提供している。
