研究概要

本研究では、特定領域研究「新高分子・ナノ組織体」の総括班として、4つの研究項目についての研究計画の推進、各研究項目相互間の連携・協力の推進、研究成果の評価と本研究領域に関連する情報の収集と調査などを行った。具体的には次のような事業を行った。
1. 公開シンポジウムの開催 第5回公開シンポジウム(平成10年7月14日、福岡サンパレスホテル、福岡):メンバー8名による講演。第6回公開シンポジウム(平成11年1月18-19日、京大会館、京都):M.Moller教授(ドイツ、Ulm大学)による特別講演とメンバー8名による講演、メンバーおよび班友によるポスター(98件)の発表を行った。
2. ワークショップの開催 一分子のポリマーサイエンスに関するワークショップ(平成10年11月27-28日、ホテルおかだ会議場、箱根) :泊まり込みの合宿形式で深い討論を行うため、参加を申込先着40名に限定し、メンバー4人とメンバー外3人による話題提供と、それを中心として深夜までの検討を行った。これからの研究の方向を探る試みとして大変好評であった。本ワークショップの話題提供者のOHPシートを中心にした報告書を後日発行し、全メンバーと班友らに配布した。
3.ニュースレターの発行 平成10年7月13日、10月26日および平成11年1月29日
4. 共同研究の推進 メンバー間の共同研究の推進を積極的にはかり、19件の共同研究課題を採択。
5. 班友の依頼 シンポジウム、ワークショップでの討論のため、公募を含め班友67名を依頼。
6. 総括班会議、班長会議などの開催 事業の推進と研究成果の評価などのため適宜開催した。
7. 報告書の発行 上述の一分子のポリマーサイエンスに関するワークショップの報告書および本年度の研究成果報告書を発行した。
