研究概要

(1)高分子の2次元組織化のための新しい手法として、重合吸着法を開発し、ポリピロールの均一薄膜を作成するとともに他のポリマーに対しても適用可能であることを示した。また、表面ゾル-ゲル法を利用して、酸化チタンとポリマーの交互積層化を実現した。(国武)
(2)アルキル基を表面に有する疎水性デンドリマ-の頭部とポリサルコシン鎖の親水性尾部とからなるおたまじゃくし型のデンドリマ-を合成した。また、親水性の糖質が結合した半球と疎水性のアルキル基が結合した半球とからなる表面ブロックデンドリマ-も合成した。これらの両親媒性デンドリマ-の気液界面での集合体形成や低分子化合物のカプセル化についても検討した。(岡田)
(3)ストレプトアビジンに光増感基としてのピレニル基と電子受容基としてのニトロフェニル基を部位特異的に導入し、その中での光誘起電子移動について検討した結果、蛋白質分子内で効率の良い電子移動を起こすには、結合に沿った電子移動が起こるように電子供与体と受容体を配置させるのが良いことが明かになった。(宍戸)
(4)縮合系の高分子とシクロデキストリンとの相互作用について検討したところ、シクロデキストリンはポリエステルやポリアミドなど種々の高分子をその空洞内に取り込み、ポリロタキサン型の包接錯体を形成することが明らかになった。さらにこの錯体中ではポリマー鎖は容易に分解することがわかった。(原田)
(5)α-シクロデキストリンを環状分子として用い、アゾベンゼン基とビオローゲン基をアルキル鎖で結合したロタキサン化合物を合成した。この化合物は、紫外光-可視光の交互照射により、光異性化反応を示した。これに伴い、包接しているα-シクロデキストリンは、アゾベンゼン基とアルキル鎖間を移動する光シャトル能を有することがわかった。(中嶋)
