研究概要

表面ゾルゲル法の応用として酸化チタンゲルとポルフィリンテトラカルボン酸の積層を行った。さまざまな基板上への規則的な積層が可能であり、ITO電極上の膜について光電流を測定したところ、ポルフィリンの励起光が電荷分離と関連していることが明らかとなった。(国武)
デンドリマーの一方の半球表面に糖ペプチド構造を、他方の半球表面にはヘキシル基を有する表面ブロック型両親媒性デンドリマーを合成し、集合体形成についての新しい知見を得た。また、糖質を表面に有するデンドリマーとアルキル基を表面に有するデンドリマーとをポリサルコシン鎖で連結した両親媒性ツインデンドリマーも合成した。(岡田)
電子伝達蛋白質であるシトムロームb5の種々の部位に2-アンスリルアラニンを導入した。この変異蛋白質にヘミンを添加しアンスリル蛍光の消光を調べた結果、アンスリル基とヘムの距離にしたがって電子移動やエネルギー移動が起こっていることが確認された。一方、2-アンスラキノニルアラニンを導入した変異体ではZn-ボルフィリンからの電子移動が起こっていることが分かった。(宍戸)
シクロデキストリンと高分子との包接錯体の末端をアントラセンで閉じ、さらに光照射する事により、ポリロタキサンのポリマーやカテナンを得ることが出来た。特にガンマ-シクロデキストリンの場合には環が大きいため、通常の置換基ではポリロタキサンが得られないが、アントラセンの光2量化により、はじめてポリロタキサンを得ることが出来た。(原田)
末端にフェロセン及びアゾベンゼンを含むチオール化合物の単分子膜電極は、フェリシアンイオンの酸化還元に対して、光駆動型のオン-オフ電流応答を示すこのがわかった。これに対し、シクロデキストリンの存在下で作成した修飾電極は、光駆動型の二次元ロタキサンとしての特性をもつことが示唆された。一方、従来困難とされたフラーレン超薄膜の電子移動反応が二分子膜という環境ではスムーズに進行した。(中嶋)
