研究概要

1.総括班会議を開催して今年度の運営方針について討議し、現在までの研究成果をまとめ平賀壯太、杉野明雄、滝澤温彦の3班長が出席して行った文部省での研究経過ヒアリングについての報告を行った。
2.各班会議にて各研究班の進展状況を把握し、評価、助言を行った。またこれらの班会議への経費の援助を行った。
3.第3回公開シンポジウム「分子細胞生物学の新しい流れ」を「細胞核の機能構造」代表/水野重樹、「生殖細胞の特質」代表/山本正幸の3重点領域研究で共催し・「3R(Replication,Recombination and Repair)シンポジウム」を「DNA修復欠損の分子病態」代表/花岡文雄の3重点領域研究と共催した。「DNA複製と染色分配のワークショップ」オ-ガナイザー:正井久雄・「第12回遺伝的組換えとその制御ワークショップ」オ-ガナイザー:大坪栄一の後援を行った。
4.総括班の松影昭夫がアメリカで開催された国際会議Cold Spring Harbor Meetingで、平賀壯太が同じくアメリカで開催されたKye Stone Symposiumでで行った研究成果発表及び、情報収集への経費を援助した。
5.サ-キュラーを発行し、総括班・計画研究班・公募研究の班員間へワークショップやシンポジウムの連絡また報告等を行い連絡をはかった。
6.今年度の計画研究班員及び、公募研究班員の研究成果をまとめ、研究成果報告書を作成し、各班員に配布した。
