研究概要	宮村、高木等は高エネルギー原子核衝突における高温・高密度状態を解明するため衝突シミュレーターによって状態方程式を求めるとともに、核子の阻止能と運動量分布の解析を行いエネルギー密度の推定を行った。また、カイラル転移に関してカイラル凝縮非整列状態の発生・発展について、射影演算子法を用いる理論的解析法を展開した。高温の場の理論に関しては橋本が有限温度でのハドロンのスペクトル関数解析法を研究した。また、格子上のフェルミオンのフォーマリズムに関する理論的研究を行った。一方、熱場の摂動理論に関しては牲川、佐々木等が熱β関数を求めるための第一ステップとして、グルオンの自己エネルギーを摂動の一次でゲージ不変な形で導出する等、理論的枠組みの整備とクォーク・グル-オンプラズマへの応用について研究した。また、平衡にある系のみならず、非平衡系についての研究も行った。有限密度は、カイラル相転移の臨界現象へのモード-モード結合の効果を調べるべく、NJL模型での計算のコードの整理を国広等が行った。また、相転移に伴う臨界現象の分析に必要な繰込み群が量子力学の波動関数の発散級数の強力な総和法として応用できることを示した。これらの研究成果を検討するため、平成9年6月にクオーク・グル-オンプラズマに関する研究会を広島で開催した。岡、斉藤等はハドロンの力学構造に関する研究を行い、軸性U(1)対称性の破れとエータ中間子の構造、負パリティのバリオンの質量と結合定数とカイラル対称性の関係について明らかにした。また、バリオンの電磁的偏極率をQCD和則の方法により求め、電磁的偏極率は主として真空中のクォーク対凝縮の外部電磁場に対する変化率に依存することを示した。
