研究概要	本年度は3年計画の初年度であるので、まず、8月6日に基礎生物学研究所において、班会議を行って研究分担等を打ち合わせた。その結果、共同研究の立ち上がりは早く、すでに、以下の例に示すような成果を得た。 (人間)安井は、高等植物の伸長抑制に関わる青色光受容色素蛋白のホモログを人間の遺伝子中に見いだし、それが精巣で特に多く発現していることを見出いだした。 (ラン藻)和田は、ラン藻SynechocystisPCC6803から青色光受容系に異常をきたした突然変異株を8株分離した。大森は、ラン藻Anabaenaにおける近赤外光照射による細胞内cAMPレベルの変化を検討して、このラン藻には青色・緑色・黄色・赤色・近赤外光信号伝達系が存在し、その光センサーの得た情報はフォスフォジエステラーゼやアデニル酸シクラーゼに伝えられることを示唆した。 (真核藻)松田と渡辺は、クラミドモナス配偶子分化の光依存性株/光非依存性株の確立と遺伝的解析を行なった。川井、渡辺、中村省吾、上田、志賀、中村英士は、青色光受容分子(色素蛋白)(系)の局在している褐藻遊走細胞鞭毛部の単離を行った。堀は、ミドリムシ光受容部位の蛍光スペクトルを顕微分光測定した。片岡は、フシナシミドロにおける青色光による分枝誘導機構を解析し、葉緑体集合から枝発生位置の決定(極性形成)と枝発生(極性固定)までのイオン的制御過程をあきらかにした。 (粘菌)上田は、粘菌の走光性および光形態形成には、紫外CとA、青色、および遠赤外の4つの独立な光受容系があることを示した。 (高等植物)飯野は、青色光によって誘導されるプロトプラスト体積減少反応を調べ、陰イオンチャンネルを介した反応であることや、青色光受容系の形成、あるいは発現が主にフィトクロムB依存していることを示した。
