研究概要	アモルファスとよばれる構造不規則系、あるいは合金、金属酸化物等に見られる置換不規則系は、その構造に起因する特異な物性を示し、機能デバイス設計開発の新しい源泉となっている。結晶構造や欠陥構造の解析が結晶物性の理解に不可欠であるように、不規則系構造の解析がその物性解明の基礎となる。また、結晶中に生じる不規則系がその材料の特性に大きな影響を与える。本研究の目的はイメージングプレート高精度画像記録装置を用いて高分解能電子顕微鏡像のコントラスト及び電子回析像の強度を精密測定し、不規則系物質の結晶学的構造を探求することである。本年度においては、以下に記載のように、BaSn_2Fe_4O_<11>とBaTi_2Fe_4O_<11>バリウムフェライト,SrTiO_3系とZrO_2系セラミックス,シアニン系とメロシアニン系有機感光色素,有機染料,GaAs/AlGaAs多層構造素子材料、Zn_<1-x>Mg_xSe青色レーザー素子材料、ZnOなど種々の不規則性を有する物質の構造に関する論文、また、高分解能電子顕微鏡法におけるマキシマムエントロピーの応用についての論文を発表した。さらに、電子顕微鏡試料作製法の開発、高温試料ホルダの開発、FeAl合金の構造の解析、アモルファスの膜の電子線回析、セラミックス中の不純物原子位置のALCHEMI法による解析、FE-TEM,EF-TEMを用いたDRAM中のO-N-O層のESD、EELS、HAADF高分解能像の解析などの実験を行った。また、平成9年9月にはポーランド共和国電子技術研究所において、本研究の概要と計画および成果の一部について発表し、レビュウを受けた。発表内容は近くElectron Technology誌に掲載される。
