研究概要	本研究では縮合多環化合物のベンゾ[a]ピレン(bpyr)とコロネン(cor)がπ配位した新規銀(I)錯体超分子を構築しその構造、物性を明かにすることを目的とした。 (1)[Ag_4(bpyr)_2(toluene)_2(ClO_4)_4](1)の構築.1には結晶学的に2つのAgが存在する。一つAgには二分子のbpyr及びClO_4と配位した四面体構造をとっており、もう一つAgには一分子のbpyr及び二分子のClO_4、一分子のトルエンが配位した四面体構造である。錯体全体としては、bpyrは二つのAgによって架橋され、一次元鎖を形成している。さらにAgはClO_4によっても架橋配位されている。 (2)[Ag_2(cor)_<1.5>(ClO_4)_2](2)の構築.銀は二分子のコロネンにη^2配位し、さらに二分子のClO_4の配位により四面体構造をとっている。両末端のコロネンには二つのAgが、まん中のコロネンには四つのAgが配位している。錯体全体としては三分子のコロネンを一つのユニットとして、c軸方向にはClO_4でAgで架橋され一次元構造を形成している。これら二つの錯体は一次元鎖構造をとっているだけでなく配位子間にπ-π相互作用が存在し、これにより二次元ネットワークを形成している。2の微結晶はg=2.001に有機ラジカルによるシャープなESRシグナルと、g=2.118にAgによるブロードなシグナルを与え、corとAgとの間での電荷移動が明かとなった。多環式化合物のAg(I)π錯体では、Agは配位子の平面に対しほぼ垂直にC=C結合に配位し、またC=C距離の短い所、つまり電子密度の高いところに配位していることが明かとなった。2は高い電気伝導度σ=3.0×10^<-3>Scm^<-1>を示すことを見い出したが、これは分子間、分子内とも大きなπ-π軌道の重なりがあるためと考えられる。さらに有機ラジカルのスピン密度も後者の方が大きいことも重要な要因となっていることを明かにした。
