研究概要

1.原子層MOCVD法により酸化物超伝導超薄膜を形成し、種々の絶縁性酸化物とのヘテロ接合を形成した。YBCO超伝導薄膜に対する、SmO2薄膜およびCeO2薄膜の堆積条件を結晶性評価により明確にした。
2.250度の高温と、150Torrの低圧で動作する超音波式MO原料モニターを開発して再現性ある超薄膜形成を可能にした。
3.超伝導超薄膜を利用した平面型電界効果デバイスを形成して電流電気特性の電界変調効果を測定した。
4.走査プローブ顕微鏡を用いて酸化物超伝導の微細加工を行い、固有ジョセフソン効果に起因する異常電流特性を観測した。
5.薄いPrBa2Cu3O7-xバリア層中の伝導機構を詳細に調べ、このバリア中の伝導が共鳴トンネルと少数個の局在準位を介したホッピング伝導を考慮すると定量的に理解できる事を示し、局在準位の基本的な物理パラメターを決定した。
6.PrBa2Cu3O7-xバリア中のフェルミ準位以下に存在する局在準位間には、反強磁性的な秩序が存在する可能性を指摘した。
