研究概要	宇宙初期の統一理論のシナリオを、複合場の量子論に基づいて基本的に理解することを目的とし、複合ヒッグス模型を、宇宙初期の高温、高密度、強重力の状況下で研究している。以前から共同研究をしているS.D.Odintsov教授と連絡をとりながら、有限曲率時空における複合場理論の基礎的研究をさらに推し進めるとともに、この分野の研究に関する総合報告を準備中であったが、Odintsov教授が日本学術振興会外国人特別研究員として平成9年3月から8月まで来日した機会に、討論及び共同作業を重ね、「Dynamical Symmetry Breaking in Curved Spacetime」と題する総合報告を完成させた。これらの研究結果を、ゲージ場理論の基本である量子電気力学の研究に拡張する計画を立て、非摂動的手法の一つであるSchwinger-Dyson方程式を用いて、有限温度での量子電気力学の相転移現象を調べた。量子電気力学におけるカイラル対称性の破れの結果として現れるフェルミオンの質量が、温度とともにどのような変化をするかを、低温領域で解析的に求めることに成功した。さらに、フェルミオンの崩壊幅などを完全に取り入れた形で数値解析する予定である。
