中間体常磁性種と溶媒分子との特異な磁気的相互作用

研究概要	本年度、次の様に研究を進め、次の内容を明らかにした。 [Ni(S2C2Ph)2]型のメタラジチオレン錯体の光照射により、溶媒の核スピンに異常な分極が生成することを見いだした。この分極は光照射を停止した後も数十分の時間スケールで観測される。この様なスピン分極は従来の核スピン分極生成機構では解釈不可能な現象である. この様な異常な核スピン分極が生成する為には、メタラジチオレン錯体の光照射により何らかの常磁性種の生成を確認する必要がある。その為に時間分解ESR法を用いて検討を行った。その結果を以下に示す。 1、錯体の光照射からは信号は観測されなかった。よって中間体常磁性種を直接観測する事は出来なかった。 2、安定なラジカル種であるTEMPOLを加えて時間分解ESRスペクトルを測定した。レーザー光照射後、観測時間分解能内の時間スケールでTEMPOLに吸収型の大きな電子スピン分極が観測された。この事よりTEMPOLとメタラジチオレン錯体との間の相互作用により電子スピン分極が生成したと考えられる。電子スピン分極の生成機構として、ラジカル-三重項機構によるものと三重項からの電子スピン分極移動によるものとが考えられる。以上の結果から、メタラジチオレン錯体の励起状態において、常磁性が生成し-電子スピンが分極することが明らかとなった。よって観測された溶媒の核スピン分極は錯体の励起状態からの核スピンへの分極移動である可能性が高い。今後励起状態から溶媒の核スピンへの分極移動メカニズムの検討が必要である。
