研究概要	本年度の研究成果は以下の通りである。 1.エキノコックス症に関する血清診断、遺伝子診断:(1)単包虫、多包虫それぞれの部分精製抗原を用い、両症の鑑別が可能な診断法を確立し、世界各地から送付された血清サンプルを用い、地球規模での考察を加えて、エキノコックス症国際会議の席で伊藤亮が報告した。(2)輸入症例である単包虫症について、血清、画像、遺伝子診断法を確立した。 2.エキノコックス症に関する疫学研究:6月に、中国青海省、四川省にまたがるチベット高原におけるチベット民族の疫学調査を開始し、ポ-タブル超音波画像解析装置を用い、約5000人の住民調査から、何らかの肝臓病変を有し、エキノコックス症が疑診される人達、約300人をスクリーニングし中国人研究者を日本に招聘し、単包虫症、多包虫症の血清学的鑑別を試み、来年度の現地調査に役立つ貴重な成績を得た。 3.有鉤嚢虫症に関する血清診断:(1)画期的な抗原精製に成功し、国際的に最も信頼される新しい血清診断法を確立し、(2)日韓寄生虫セミナーならびに(3)南アフリカで開催された国際嚢虫症会議において基調講演者として伊藤亮が発表した。(4)この診断法を用いて、インドネシア、イリアンジャヤ住民を対象とした疫学研究を開始し、地域住民の大多数が感染しているというショッキングな成績が得られた。 4.有鉤嚢虫症に関する遺伝子診断:(1)イリアンジャヤにおける患者、患畜、中国、メキシコ、エクアドルにおける患畜から遺伝子診断に必要な有鉤嚢虫組織を採取している。(2)遺伝子、抗原性の比較解析に必要なこれらの近縁種嚢虫を実験動物(複合免疫不全マウス)において世界で最初に作成することに成功した。 5.来年度の疫学調査計画(中国、四川省、青海省地域におけるチベット民族の調査、新彊ウイグル自治区における少数民族調査)について、エキノコックス症国際会議の席で協議した。
