研究概要

1. 中央に置く高性能ワークステーションを大阪大学医学部保健学科及び大阪大学医学部附属病院に設置した。これを用いてソフトウェアを開発し,装備して高速化を促進せしめ、臨床評価を行った。
2. CT.MRIなどの医用画像を3次元画像処理し,脳腫瘍などの位置や上顎顔面画像,内視鏡画像を3次元で表示する画像誘導型診断支援及び治療計画において,ソフトウェアを作成し,ワークステーションに具現化した。
3. 特にオープンシステムとし、放射線診断医や放射線治療医、内科医、外科医も簡便に利用できる臨床応用システムとした。
4. コンピュータ支援画像診断においては胸部レントゲン写真、乳房写真、血管造影写真などの画像処理とセカンドオピニオンの提示により、有病正診率、無病正診率を上げ,高速化が実現した。
5. 共通規格による画像伝送・流通を中央のワークステーションと他病院設置ワークステーションの間で確認した。媒体互換性、装置互換性、CPU・OS非依存性を確認した。
6. 医療情報と画像伝送について、プライバシーとセキュリティ確保のためのシミュレーションプログラムが開発され,デモンストレーションが行われた。
7. フィルムやイメージングプレートを用いない新しいX線画像撮影方式である、フラットパネルディテクタについて欧・米・日の研究開発状況を調査した。
8. シネフィルムのデジタル化についてMPEG-2のDVD-RAM,ACC/NEMA DICOMの採用による動画像の電子保存システムを試作した。
