研究概要

(1)12月4日に総括班会議を開催した。
(2)Bの物理workshopを9/2-9/4に恵那高原で開催しBelle collaborationの若手向き講義を行った。
(3)Summer Instituteを高エネルギー加速器研究搬構で8/22-8/27に開催。100名以上の参加者が全国から集まり、Belleの実験に関連する講義を行った。
総括班会議:12月4日に総括班会議を開催した。Belle実験の加速器ならびに測定器の状況報告と今後の計画について議論した。また、データ収集のためのトリガー効率やバックグラウンドの特性について、実験データをもとに議論し、バックグランド対策について報告を受けた。
A01:崩壊点測定装置の性能評価。崩壊位置測定精度の改善を目指したピクセル型シリコン検出器の開発。読み出し集積回路のテスト。解析作業を進めている。
A02:実験データの収集と平行して中央飛跡検出器(CDC)のトラッキング、dE/dXの校正作業を進めている.Time-Of-Propagation counterのビームテストや、single-photon sensitive MAPMの開発IEEE国際会議(INSTR99)などで発表。直接的CP非保存・タウでの時間反転不変性など検討。
A03:B中間子の2体崩壊分岐比の計算結果を発表した。
