研究概要

1.杉山は、トウモロコシについて(1)サイトカイニンによりZmRR1が葉肉細胞に優先的に誘導蓄積し、それが転写レベルで制御されること、(2)根で窒素に応答し誘導蓄積するサイトカイニンが導管を経由して葉に輸送されることをそれぞれ明らかにするとともに、(3)新規のresponse regulator遺伝子ZmRR3-7に加えHis-kinas遺伝子ZmHK1を単離し、(4)シロイヌナズナについてサイトカイニンがトウモロコシと同様に窒素に応答し蓄積誘導されることを発見した。2.佐野はWPK4について、(1)これに結合する14-3-3タンパク質の分子特性を明らかにし、(2)その標的遺伝子がHMGRとNRであることを示唆するとともに、(3)そのホモログとしてイネからOsPK4,7、トウモロコシからZmPK4、シロイヌナズナからAtSR1,2を単離した。3.水野はシロイヌナズナについて、(1)新規のHis-キナーゼ遺伝子3種を同定し、(2)CKI1にフォスファターゼ活性を有することを明らかにし、(3)新規なHptARR5種を同定し、これらのタンパク質の特定のHisがリン酸化されることを明らかにし、(4)疑似response regulatorAPRRのcDNA2種を取得した。4.林はイネについて、(1)師管内に存在するチオレドキシンh遺伝子の発現の様式と部位を明らかにし、(2)師部特異的発現を制御するプロモーターを利用し、成熟葉の師管内に目的タンパク質を導入する方法を確立し、(3)単一の師管内に高分子物質を導入する系を確立し、(4)師管内にイオウ栄養状態のシグナルと目されるグルタチオンが比較的高濃度存在することを突きとめた。5.山谷はイネについて、(1)伴細胞特異的なプロモーターの制御下でGS1のセンス・アンチセンスRNAを発現する植物体を作出し、GS1の低下とともに葉身中の窒素やRubiscoが低下することを突きとめ、(2)AS遺伝子の発現を解析し、機能が不明であったASの性格付けをし、(3)NADH-GOFAT遺伝子発現の情報伝達系にタンパク質のリン酸化・脱リン酸化の関与すること、(4)GS1に翻訳後の活性制御系が存在することをそれぞれ示唆した。
