窒素転流の光合成機能に関わるRubisco分解の分子機構

研究概要

1.活性酸素によりRubiscoの大サブユニットが直接攻撃を受け分解される可能性が示された。またその切断部位がN末端から328-330番目の間にあることが明らかとなり、このことは先に部位特異抗体を用いた切断部位の推定位置と一致した。Rubiscoが直接活性酸素により分解される可能性を示唆したのは本研究が初めてである。
2.活性酸素によるRubiscoの分解は、コムギ,ホウレンソウ,エンドウ,オオムギのいずれの植物においても観察されることが分った。
3.活性酸素によるRubiscoの分解は、活性酸素の生体内消去系酵素の阻害剤の添加、あるいはMV(メチルバイオロゲン)の添加により、コムギインタクト葉、単離葉緑体、その破砕液のいずれにおいても生じることが明らかとなった。
