研究概要

この科研費は旧総合Aのように、研究集会の講演者旅費を援助することなどを通じて、日本の代数的組合せ論の発展に広く寄与するのが主目的であった。この意味で、本年度は6月22-25日の第15回代数的組合せ論シンポジウム(金沢大学)(責任者:伊藤達郎)、11月9日-12日の山形大における「代数的組合せ論と組合せ論的二次形式」(責任者:小関道夫、坂内英一、原田昌晃)、12月14-16日の京大数理研における研究集会「代数的組合せ論研究集会」(責任者:鈴木寛)を主に支援した。日本の代数的組合せ論は現在活発に研究が持続されており、アソシエーションスキームおよび距離正則グラフの分類問題において注目すべき研究が進展している。また、他分野との関係という意味では、モジュラー不変性、スピンモデル、Terwilliger代数との関連において注目すべき研究が進展している。研究代表者の周辺では、有限体の上の通常のコード理論を有限環あるいは有限アーベル群上のコード理論に拡張する方向の仕事が現在の研究の中心テーマであり、特に4つの元からなる有限環R=F_2+μF_2(あるいはクラインの4元群)上のTypeIIコードを利用してGauss環Z[i]上の種数2の対称Hermitianモジュラー形式の研究において重要結果が得られた。(坂内-原田-宗政-大浦の共同研究として共著論文を準備中。)また、SL(2,Z)の有限部分群でそれに対するモジュラー形式全体の作る環が多項式環と同型になるものの決定に成功し、必ずしも整数ウエイトでないモジュラー形式についても研究中であり、Γ(5)のウェイト1/5のモジュラー形式について興味ある結果が得られたと思われる。(坂内-小池-宗政-関口の共同研究として共著論文を準備中。)
