光波コヒーレンス関数の合成技術によるリフレクトメトリ及び光トモグラフィの高性能化

研究概要	本研究の目的は、研究代表者の独自技術である「光波コヒーレンス関数の合成法」の精度向上を計り、さらに、この技術を基にして考案した複数の光機能システムの性能向上を計ることである。本年度は、本研究の最終年度にあたる。まず、偏波維持光ファイバ中での直交偏波モード間の結合を光ファイバに沿って分布的に測定して分布型荷重センサを構築する手法に関し、デジタル的処理による位置精度向上手法を提案・実証した。矩形コヒーレンス関数を合成し、コヒーレンス度が0か1かで測定レンジ中で荷重領域を半分に絞る。これをたとえば7回繰り返すと、128分の1の空間分解能が実現できる。実験系により機能確認に成功した。光トモグラフィシステムに関しては、計算処理が不要で、機能的可動次元を低減した独自手法を発明し、空間分解能約400μmで散乱媒体のトモグラフィ像を得ることに成功した。本研究開始後に発明した光ファイバ中で誘導ブリルアン散乱を局在発生させる独自技術の性能向上も果たした。従来のパルス法の空間分解能限界を一桁半も凌ぐ6.5cmの実現に成功し、発表した。 3年間の研究により、導波路型光デバイス及び光回路中での反射・散乱光分布を高い空間分解能と広いダイナミックレンジで測定するリフレクトメトリ、光ファイバ加入者ネットワークの敷設・保持に際して重要となる約5km以上遠方での異常点を数cmの空間分解能で認識できるシステム、複数の機能を有する分布型光ファイバ荷重センサ、光ファイバ干渉計センサの多重化技術、合成光コヒーレンストモグラフィ、複数反射面を有する光学媒体の各面精度を個別に干渉稿解析するシステム、ブリルアン散乱応用高分解能歪分布センシングを提案・実証した。これらにより、本研究の目的を十分に達成したと考えられる。
