生物的防除における導入天敵の利用と国内の生物相に与える影響評価に関する研究

研究概要

基盤研究の第2年度に当たる今年度は、初年度の成果を踏まえて既に導入された天敵類のその後の動態を確認するとともに、土着天敵との競合関係の実態を検討した。また、近い将来に導入が計画される導入天敵類への対応を考察した。これらの主な成果は以下のようにまとめられる。
1. わが国にすでに導入された天敵類の個体群推移とその生態的評価:
1) ヤノネキイロコバチとヤノネッヤコバチの定着とその後の推移
ヤノネカイガラムシの天敵として導入された上記2種の寄生蜂が示した長期個体群動態を解析したところ、ヤノネッヤコバチの寄生がヤノネカイガラムシの低密度安定化に大きく影響していると結論付けられた。また、安定化するもののカイガラムシ個体群が絶滅しない理由の一つとして、カイガラムシ個体の他個体腹側への潜り込みによる寄生回避行動が指摘された。
2) チュウゴクオナガコバチと土着寄生蜂クリマモリオナガコバチの競合関係
チュウゴクオナガコバチの侵入時期が比較的新しい長野県での両種の動態を解析したところ、両種の交雑個体と考えられる標本が採集されている。土着種個体群への影響を考察するには好適な例として、研究が進められている。
3) 導入種の土着カブリダニ類に与える影響
新規農薬登録が受理されたククメリスカプリダニを使って、土着カブリダニ相への影響をナスおよびイチゴの栽培現場で実施した。また、土着カブリダニ相に関する総説を出版しこれらの研究を支援した。
2. 分担者による研究成果の公表;
1999年4月2〜4目に琉球大学で開催される第43回日本応用動物昆虫学会大会で、小集会「導入天敵の現状と将来ー生物学的評価と今後の方針ー」を主催し、多くの参加者と討議の場を持つ。
