研究概要	1. パーアリールジホスフイン配位子であるBINAP[2,2′-bis(diphenylphosphino)-1,1"-bihaphtyl]を有するカチオン性のロジウム錯体を用いると、メタノール溶媒中内部アセチレン化合物の還元的二量化反応が進行した。このカチオン性ロジウム錯体は、メタノールの水酸基だけでなくメチル基のC-H結合も活性化し、反応に利用している。パーアリールジホスフィン配位子を有する中性のイリジウム(I)二核錯体はカルボン酸のO・H結合を活性化し、カチオン性のヒドリド(カルボキシラート)イリジウム(III)錯体を与えた。また、この錯体はイミンの触媒的不斉水素化反応の良い触媒となった。 2. シクロペンタジエニル誘導体とホスフィノ基がキレートした配位子(Cp′-P配位子)としてシクロペンタジエニル基上に光学活性な置換基を導入した新規光学活性Cp′-P配位子を設計、合成した。この配位子を用いると錯体形成時における面不斉の制御が可能となった。また、金属周りの立体に関しても面不斉と量換基による高次制御により、従来のcp′-P配位子に比べ、高い立体選択性が発現した。例えば、ネオイソメンチル基を有するCp′-P配位子を用いると、74%deでロジウム-カルボニル錯体が合成できた。さらに、このカルボニル錯体にヨウ化メチルを酸化的付加させると、96%deでロジウム-アシル錯体が合成できた。 3. 様々な置換基を有する1,4-ジアザジエン、ペンタメチルシクロペンタジエニル基、およびハロゲンを配位子とするニオブおよびタンタル錯体を系統的に合成した。この錯体は、極性モノマーの重合触媒となる初めての例である。また、配位子の種類を選ぶことにより、3種類の異なった配位形式をとること、および、得られるポリマーの立体規則性や分子量分布を制御できることを明らかにした。
