| 研究概要 |
研究代表者小関は、2元符号の被覆半径の問題を扱う一つの決定的方法を開発し、その方法を用いて長さ40の極値的自己双対2元符号の被覆半径を決定した。その成果は論文"Determination of covering radius and coset weight distributions of doubly even extremal binary self-dual codes of length 40"という題で、Theoretical Computer Scienceに2000年3月に掲載された。上記の方法をさらに発展させて、長さが56の場合について極値的自己双対2元符号の被覆半径を決定する方法論を確立しIEEE Trans.IT.に論文を投稿し、レフェリーから書き直しの条件の下で掲載の通知を受けている。さらに小関は、共同研究を3件成功させ、その成果としては(i)E.Bannai,E.Bannai,M.Ozeki,Y.Teranishi(共著),On the Ring of simultaneous Invariants for the Gleason-MacWilliams Group,European J.Combinatorics Vol.20(1999)619-627,(ii)T.Aoki,P.Gaborit,M.Harada,M.Ozeki,P.Sole(共著),On the Covering Radius of Z_4-codes and Their Lattices,IEEE Trans.Inf.Th.Vol.45,No.6,(1999)2162-2168と公表されたもの、および、掲載の通知を受けている(iii)M.Harada and M.Ozeki(共著),Extremal Self-Dual Codes with the Smallest Covering Radius,Discrete Mathematics(in press2000)等がある。そのほか目下論文を準備中の研究が4件あり、それらは(a)Covering radius problem for singly even self-dual binary codes,(b)Reversing the shadow process and its applications,(c)Mass formula for Jacobi polynomials for codes and other generalized weight enumerators of doubly even self-dual codes(joint work with A.Munemasa),(d)Classification of singly even self-dual binary[32,16]codes.(joint work with M.Harada)等である。分担者村林直樹は論文"A remark on the modularity of abelian varieties of GL2-type over Q"がJ.Number Theoryに掲載されることが決定している。その外一編を投稿中。分担者原田は論文"S.T.Dougherty,T.A.Gulliver and M.Harada,Type II self-dual codes over finite rings and even unimodular lattices,J.Algebraic Combinatrics,Vol.9(1999),pp.233-250の外三編を今年度公表した。
