研究概要

小松は、一般の局所コンパクト可換群でのPlancherelおよびBochnerの定理に対する故吉田耕作教授の証明が、最も自然な証明であるにもかかわらずわずかな欠陥のために世に知られていないのを残念に思い、完全なものにした。
中村は、主として弾性体の逆問題について研究し、1)3次元横等方弾性体テンソルの境界に於ける値とすべての微係数がデイリクレ・ノイマン写像より求められる、2)非均質等方弾性体の弾性係数が、一定周波数の弾性波の散乱振幅より一意に同定できる、3)探針法により非等方弾性体内の空洞の形状を再構成出来ること等を示した。以上を導電体のインピーダンス・トモグラフィーに応用すれば、介在物や亀裂の形状、導電率の介在物境界に於ける飛びの再構成が可能であることがわかる。
林と加藤は、主に、発展形の非線形偏微分方程式について、解の存在、微分可能性、時間が無限大になるときの解の漸近的振舞い等を研究した。林は、特に、非線形Schrodinger方程式、Davey-Stewartson系、Benjamin-Ono方程式などさまざまな方程式に対して解の存在と解の漸近挙動について数多くの結果を得た。加藤は、非線形Schrodinger方程式、Korteweg-de Vries方程式、半線形熱方程式などの解の解析性について興味ある結果を得た。
